The Artist: WENDY CONVERSE
The artist behind Forgotten Friends is a lot the characters themselves.
A little rough around the edges, most days more pessimistic than
optimistic, but all in all a character within herself and good company
to be around.
I spend most daylight hours working for Girl Scouts. The official title
says "Graphic Communications Coordinator," but I do everything from
design work and mural painting to computer database maintenance and
general day to day operations. It's a job I enjoy and an organization
I truly believe in. Check them out online if you have a chance.
In my free time, I make the artwork you see here, plus LOTS more!
From figure drawing to monoprints and pottery to sculpture, the
variety keeps me fresh and excited about what I am doing. You can
see more of my work at www.conversecreations.com.
